How did Paintball Combat get started.
This is a question that is asked a lot of how someone could come up with the idea of inventing a Landmine made for Paintball.
We added the story to this area for great reading.

We are brothers, Mike and Eric Huber; the inventors of Paintball Combat Products.
We are both Police Officers and also, the respective training officers with our departments. Mike is also a former Marine (Simper Fi)

It all began  a few years ago, with the Talon Pump. Yes, that is right, I said the Talon Pump. Mike decided to go to some local pawn shops one day and found none other than our first markers, the Talon pump. We never played paintball before; so, we were not aware of  the safety precautions that should have been taken when playing the game. Mike bought two of the Talon's.  One for him and one for me. He came over to my house one day, while,  I was lying on the couch relaxing, with just a pair of shorts and a T-Shirt.  To no avail I heard a horn honking in my front driveway. Of course, it had to be Mike.  This is his way of telling me to come outside; because, he has something to show me that he is not bringing it in. Well I thought it could be some kewl police gear. So, I jumped up and rushed out the door. I made it two steps out the door and all hell broke loose. I was in a gun fight, with no gun to shoot back with.  I had already shut the front door.  I was screwed.  There was paint splattered all over the side of my house.  I ran back in the house real quick and here he came. I thought that he had went over the edge and lost his mind.  I was getting shot at, with paint of all things!. After I realized my brother was not trying to kill me, I let him in the house.  He was laughing hysterically.  He brought with him two Talon guns. I knew then, that this dated back to my childhood days. Mike and I would use the play guns and yell "your out". This time it was grown up style and we were going to know that we were out now. Well as many of you know the game is addictive. So it began
As I mentioned earlier, we are both training officers for our respective departments. We decided to utilize paintball in our training. So, we did. We needed more excitement. We needed  something new and creative that no one else had.  Something that would incorporate a more realistic situation.
Mike sat down and spent several hundred hours perfecting the best thing he could come up with. It was a Claymore Mine, now sold on our web site. He finally made it. We then sat down together to perfect what is now our Claymore Mine. Then the other ideas followed. We had to have something more. We needed a landmine. So, once again, he sat down at the drawing board and came up with the idea. We then spent several hours, several days, and several nights perfecting one of our best selling items. The Paintball Combat Landmine.
We needed some money. Who doesn't!  What better way than to sell our products. So we talked with our attorneys and began selling them. We made a pact to make sure that all of our products sold will be the best. We want you to get what you pay for; not some item that breaks after one use. We want our products to be durable and easy to use. So, there it is. This is how our company was Born.
